Dermaplaning, Dermablading or Epidermal Levelling are meaning the same thing. It’s a manual form of exfoliation, using a small blade to scrape away dead skin cells from the epidermis, to reveal the fresh, brighter skin beneath. Which areas can be treated?

How does the treatment work?
Each hair grows at a different rate, going through three distinct phases: growth, regression and resting. IPL works by disabling the hair that is in the active growth phase at the time of treatment. Because other hairs will enter this active phase at different times, additional treatments may be required.
How many treatments will I need?
Most areas require 3-6 treatments. The number of treatments required for optimal long-term benefits depends on multiple factors – hair thickness, area treated, hair growth cycle etc.
What does treatment feel like?
When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. No local anaesthesia or pain medication is typically required, however patients may choose to apply a topical anaesthetic when treating sensitive areas.
What happens after?

How safe is cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a relatively low-risk procedure. Lesions around the face and eyes can easily be treated safely – with minimal discomfort and few side effects. Because of its special applicator tips, the Cryopen will only treat your lesion – not the healthy surrounding tissue.
How long are Cryopen treatments?
The penetration rate of freezing with the Cryopen is approximately 1mm per 5 seconds, with a maximum of 3-6mm depending on the applicator. Upon clinical evaluation, your operator will choose an application time between 1 and 30 seconds.
Do I need a follow up Cryotherapy session?
A follow up visit is recommended 2-4 weeks after your appointment.
